Stanford Coachworks work with many councils and for a number of years we have worked with Hampshire council. Hampshire appreciate the personal and flexible service that we can provide them. We were awarded the framework agreement to build minibuses for Hampshire, their fleet primarily consists of Ford Transit conversions however we have built on other models for them including a Citroen Relay earlier this year. Their vehicles are used for transporting clients at various schools and day centres, aiding the community.
Hampshire do not have one standard model for their fleet and we are able to accommodate their changing needs for their fleet, from 5 passenger vehicles to 16 passenger vehicles.
Some of the common features that are included on Hampshire vehicles include:
- Removable seats
- Side entry
- Side steps for assisted entry
- Hand rails
- Recessed lamps in the passenger section
- Wheelchair lift
- Reverse warning beepers
- Rear saloon speakers
- Safety equipment
Hampshire are one of many councils that we work with. We have built good working relationships with many local authorities. This is because they know we will provide a high quality conversion that will serve them well on their fleet and provide them longevity.
Stanford’s also have a reputation for producing a variety of good quality conversions from ambulances, school buses, minibuses, wheelchair accessible and small vehicle conversions. Councils know they have a one stop shop with us and that we can design a minibus suitable for their fleet. This is one of the reasons Hampshire work with us alongside the attention to detail we provide. Hampshire transport manager said “The vehicle conversions Stanford produce are of a very high standard. Everyone at Stanford is ready to go that extra mile to ensure the service provided is professional, the build quality is exceptional… and the entire team at Stanford makes the process of procuring accessible conversions easy.”
