The London Low Emission Zone (LEZ) charging scheme, administered by the Transport for London, came into play on 4th February 2008. It’s sole intention to reduce the pollution caused by the emissions of diesel commercial vehicles across the district of London. Any vehicles producing emissions over the set parameters are slapped with a vehicle emissions charge.
