We have recently delivered patient transport ambulances to Guys and St Thomas hospital. This was the first delivery of ten vehicles in production for Guys and St Thomas. This was part of the development of their fleet of patient transport ambulances.

Converted from Mercedes Sprinter these patient transport ambulances are designed to transport five passengers plus the driver or three wheelchair passengers. Seats were wipe clean Phoenix Blenheim seats. The interior space also featured luggage racks for storage of blankets and pillows; wheelchair restraints, piped oxygen, secure fittings to carry patient oxygen tanks and a luggage pen is in place of the passenger seat in the cab area.

The vehicles are also fitted with reverse cameras and warning beepers. They also have Eberspacher air conditioning and heaters and in the rear an internal tail lift for wheelchair access.

The six short wheel base patient transport ambulances were fitted similarly to the bigger vehicles featuring air conditioning, heaters, storage at the top, oxygen and wipe clean seats. However as a smaller vehicle this patient transport ambulance can fit three passengers plus the driver and one wheelchair passenger. It has a 1400mm bi fold ramp with a 400kg capacity and electric winch.
