We built some vehicles and delivered them, we decided to support the Matt Hampson Foundation, some of our distinguished members signed up for a ride and as the British summer well and truly returned (aka rain) we reflected on the sunshine at our expo!

Some of the vehicles that left us this week included –

We delivered 2 vehicles from a batch of several vehicles for a community transport service operating in the west midlands. The vehicles delivered this week were wheelchair accessible minibuses with capacity for 11 passengers or 4 wheelchair passengers.

Along with our larger wheelchair accessible vehicles going out this week we had some smaller conversions too. Based on Renault Traffic’s we had a small wheelchair accessible vehicle and a  passenger transport vehicle.

Small wheelchair accessible with 5 passenger seats and wheelchair lift in the rear.

The transfer vehicle featured 3 seats with a side step and TV  in the rear.

What else happened this week?

We also decided that we are dedicating our fundraising skills to the Matt Hampson Foundation. We’ve started off with pledging funds for two paving slabs for the new Get Busy Living Centre. Next we need to decide what fundraising activities we can take part in to raise money for the foundation, suggestions include sky diving, a half marathon and obstacle courses. I think we may have to run a pole and let everyone else decide on the challenge…

Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride

This week we decided we would become distinguished members of society. We are taking part in the Distinguished Gentlemens Ride. On the 24th September we will don our finest clothes and some of us will ride in the city… whilst some of us will be supporting from the side-lines with a bottle or two of champs! Want to know more? Read about the ride in our last news post
