We supplied a new Renault Master minibus to Isis Care and Retirement Centre in Oxford at the beginning of April. The delivery was made by David Hardacre, Sales and Marketing Executive at Stanford Coachworks, and the keys were handed over to the staff of the care home on a bright afternoon. We spoke with Chanice, the Transport Co-ordinator at Isis House about how the minibus is settling in:

Even waited until one of my drivers got there so they could go through it all with him.very impressed with the service, and would have no hesitation in highly recommending you to anyone.

Just a quick email to say that we thoroughly enjoyed today at Brands Hatch. The various types of vehicles on show were excellent and it was very nice to see so many of your suppliers exhibiting their products. All of the refreshments that were supplied throughout the day were delicious (as you can tell by John’s figure). We both enjoyed the ‘hot laps’ although the driver taking me round decided to give me an extra thrill by spinning the car!Thank you for the invitation and we hope that it was a success for you.
Yvonne & John of Homesafe Travel
Thanks for putting on a great show today, Jim & I found it very useful in meeting existing clients & catching up with many suppliers.
Robert Kendall of The Procurement Partnership Ltd
I didn't get a chance to see you before we left, but thanks for the invitation. I had a really good time, especially in the Aston Martin! Obviously a great deal of effort and planning has gone in today’s event, I’m sure you’ll secure some future orders.
Paul Ramsden of Van Sales Executive
I would like to say a very BIG well done to all of you for the show yesterday, the preparation and planning paid off. I actually think this could be a start of something big and a yearly show possibly with more stands. I would also like to say a very big thank you for involving myself and UKSAS in the day and I know the people who I invited were very impressed with our equipment which says a lot for your build quality and also your other vehicles. I cannot emphasize enough how professional all your staff were throughout the whole day.
Little Mick of UK Specialist Ambulance Services
I just wanted to say a big “thank you” for yesterday’s event you put on. What a great success? Great venue, good exhibits, super nosh, fun hot laps –a great day out. It was particularly enjoyable for me, having been out of the main loop for 4.5 years now, to meet up with so many familiar faces from the industry. Fingers crossed you can do similar next year?

We were very pleased with the service and customer support when choosing specifications for an appropriate mini-bus to meet our patients’ needs. David was very helpful and professional at all times. Patients who have travelled in the vehicle all say how much more comfortable it is. An added benefit is that members of the public have noticed us driving around and fellow road users seem to be more courteous!
Marian Turner of St Richard’s Hospice
We are a religious charity with minimal purchasing needs and little experience of these vehicles. We found Stanford Coachworks to be attentive, helpful and competitively priced. They were not “pushy” with respect to the purchase and kept us fully informed as to delivery. We have no hesitation in recommending them.
Kevin Ruxton, Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary

From our first contact with Stanford Coachworks the help, advice and communication was first class. The minibus was built and has fitted our needs precisely; all the disabled members of our association say it was exactly what was required. Our passengers really like the side access door with the drop down step. When it was first used people were amazed at how easy it was to board using this step with the attached hand rails!

Liam McCarthy,St Ann’s Hospice Finance Director
Our vehicle was old...it needed a complete face lift and an improved, updated interior. We went for the Gold package...the whole vehicle was completely restored and repainted, to our specifications, giving it a fresh new appearance...With very little capital available, refurbishment was a cost effective solution, saving £1000’s compared to a new bus and we once again can give our customers a comfortable fresh environment for many more years.
George Brown, Bus Manager for Melksham Council of Community Service (MCCS)
