A Bespoke Mobile Demonstration Unit for BraunAbility
After a new and exciting way to showcase your range of products? Our latest Peugeot Boxer conversion does just that for one of our long-term suppliers.
Converted for BraunAbility, this bespoke mobile demonstration unit will be used by the BraunAbility sales team to exhibit a number of their latest accessible products including tail lifts, removable seat fixings and tracked floor systems all whilst on the road.
At Stanford Coachworks we have worked closely with BraunAbility for a number of years and we were delighted when they asked us to help with their latest project. Their new vehicle, based on a L4H2 Peugeot Boxer Professional, includes four of BraunAbility’s wheelchair accessible entry options: an underfloor tail lift fitted beneath the rear of the vehicle, an internal tail lift inside the rear of the vehicle, an internal split platform tail lift at one of the twin side load doors and a fold-out ramp at the other. With their new Boxer, BraunAbility will be able to carry out demonstrations any time of the day as we have fitted high-level scene lighting and two high-intensity LED load lamps to illuminate the exterior of the vehicle. We have also made each tail lift easily accessible for Braun so that they can replace any of the products with updated models when available.
We would like to say thank you to BraunAbility for involving us in their latest project and we hope to see the mobile demonstration unit in action very soon. If you would like any further information on any of BraunAbility’s products, please click here.
Colourful Conversions for our Clients
Looking for something a little different? We don’t do boring at Stanford Coachworks, we do bespoke. Our wide range of colourful interiors are certain to brighten up your minibus and make your passengers smile.
We encourage all of our clients to visit Stanfords, prior to their conversion, to see for themselves our wide range of materials and components. This really helps with visualising what the finished minibus will look like! During visits, our clients also get the chance to meet their personal coachbuilding team and are shown similar vehicles in build which gives a great insight into the quality of our products.
Our latest wheelchair accessible minibus conversion incorporates a multicoloured moquette throughout which features in the seating, roof panel, interior panels and cant rail covers. This colourful conversion is based on a L3H2 Peugeot Boxer and features eight passenger seats with tip and fold functions, space for up to four wheelchairs made possible by removable seating, an internal heavy-duty fold-out ramp and a pedal operated side step.

Remembrance Day
Earlier this month on the 11th November we were proud to see the Stanfords team wearing their poppies in remembrance of our fallen service people.
Over the years we have been honoured to convert a number of bespoke minibuses for a variety of charities and hospitals including Help for Heroes, The Royal Hospital Chelsea, the RAF Benevolent fund and the Royal Naval Association.
These specialist minibuses include a whole range of features and extra bespoke touches. Click the images below to get a better look at some of the vehicles that we have converted over the years.
Patient Transport Service Vehicle Conversions
This month, we have been busy converting quite a few PTS vehicles and ambulances for multiple NHS and private medical organisations across the country.
The latest conversion from our medical service vehicle range is for a national rental company and is based on a L3H2 Peugeot Boxer. This bespoke PTS ambulance features a full wipe clean interior with eight passenger seats, piped oxygen, a heavy duty winch and ramp, rear saloon heating and air conditioning, and a front luggage pen. The PTS ambulance seats have either tip and fold functions or have removable seat fixings to allow space for up to three wheelchairs.
